Lighting
Research Center
The Lighting Research Center (LRC) is part of the School of Architecture at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
It was formed in 1988 with the goal of changing architecture, through lighting that
is energy efficient and responsive to
human needs. Since then, the LRC has grown into the world's largest university-based center for lighting
research and education.
In addition to lots of other information, LRC has free Adobe Acrobat reports from the National Lighting Product Information
Program (NLPIP) is an objective source of manufacturer-specific performance
information on energy-efficient lighting products.
